A LONG TIME AGO IN A GALAXY FAR, FAR AWAY, immediately after the war between the Empire and the Rebellion, a group of unknown travelers appear at the doorstep of the Alliance. to their surprise, these travelers are survivors...of Alderaan - Princess Leia Organa's home planet that was destroyed five years prior.

Missing their home and their leaders, the survivors plead for Leia, the daughter of the viceroy, to become their queen. In this fragile time after the war, a new threat creeps his way into the tale - Grand Admiral Thrawn - seeking political revenge for the princess's actions during her days in the senate. However, Thrawn is not the only threat Leia and her friends must face - an old Tantive V cruiser is floating in the outer reaches, destroyed and abandoned...or is it? Could Leia's parents be alive after all this time? Will Leia take the throne and represent her people as Queen?
