Hi! I'm Lauren Arnold and I'm currently a student at Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD)! I am a Production Design major with a concentration in Costume Design.

I began sewing when I was 13 years old and I was completely self-taught when I started out; I never used a pattern. A lot of my work is fairytale-inspired as I grew up with so many incredible stories that sparked my imagination.

 

At 15, I launched my own company 'Once Upon A Wish' to bring that magic to life for kids. They would be able to interact with their favorite characters and create everlasting memories.

I am extremely attentive to detail in my work and Costume Design is my way of storytelling through art.

At SCAD, my work has really improved. I never knew how to draw or sketch out my ideas until I took drawing classes and really trained my eyes to see art differently. As I continue to challenge myself in my work, I always follow my dreams.
